Envisioning new porous materials requires using new building blocks or methods of construction. An overarching theme in the lab will be to use noncovalent interactions to make dynamic, redox-switchable, self-healing, and processable systems. These will be used for addressing crucial environmental problems and understanding fundamental electronic or magnetic properties.
